Can synthetic vitamins hurt me?
Yes. This is especially true if taken in large quantities or over long periods of time. The Journal of the National Cancer Institute warns against taking synthetic vitamins, explaining, <(2)>taking too many may increase men's risk of dying from prostate cancer.<(2)> A study of 300,000 men showed that those who took synthetic multivitamins had double the risk of developing fatal prostate cancer. Synthetic vitamins have been proven to contain pesticides, chemical additives and by-products, preservatives and genetically engineered ingredients. The human body cannot absorb these toxic poisons without the increase in chronic conditions including osteoporosis, arthritis, cancer and Alzheimer's. The multivitamin that is supposed to be strengthening your immune system and protecting consumers from illness is actually damaging human health with toxic ingredients.
